After receiving her B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University in Political Science with a minor in Spanish in 1992, Amy received her J.D. from Western New England College School of Law in 1995. She relocated to the Charlotte area shortly after graduating from law school.

Amy is a well-rounded and dedicated attorney who enjoys her career of helping people through some of the most difficult times in their lives.

She has been a speaker for the National Business Institute, A.G. Edwards, and Stifel Nicolaus in continuing education. She also has participated in the Second Saturdays workshop in Lake Norman and at the Free Legal Clinic offered through the Women’s Commission, now offered through the Mecklenburg County’s Community Support Services.

She is the proud parent of two successful adult daughters. She owns two teacup dogs and a rescue cat. Amy enjoys hiking and occasionally camping.

Amy, is highly accomplished. She provides an honest assessment, provides the pros and cons, and guides you to the most reasoned approach. Mine was that of a Father gaining custody of his minor children, which was successful. At one point, I was in the hospital, and Amy appeared on my behalf without hesitation, out of compassion for my situation at the time. I cannot provide a higher recommendation for someone to trust with your children's fate, than Amy.
