Alex Bredehoft has over 15 years of Paralegal experience in complex civil litigation supporting clients and attorneys with all facets of legal matters including drafting pleadings, discovery, trial preparation, and case management. Alex brings this experience, along with her compassionate nature, to PRJ’s family law clients to help them navigate the delicate nuances of each case. Alex graduated cum laude from Clemson University, SC with a Bachelor of Science and is a North Carolina Notary Public.

In her spare time, Alex enjoys listening to rock music and lamenting the fact that an IV for coffee doesn’t exist yet.

Hi! I’m Yoselin Ramos, a paralegal at Plumides, Romano & Johnson, P.C.

I joined the firm in 2022 as a receptionist and, after discovering my passion for the legal field, transitioned into a legal assistant role before becoming a paralegal. Today, I have the opportunity to work in several areas of law, including criminal defense, family law, personal injury, and appeals. I love that every case presents a new opportunity to learn and grow.

I understand that legal matters can feel overwhelming, so I strive to make the process as smooth and approachable as possible. Whether I’m assisting our attorneys, preparing legal documents, or communicating with clients, my goal is to help every client feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout their case.

As a fluent Spanish speaker, I’m proud to assist both English- and Spanish-speaking clients, helping ensure that language is never a barrier to receiving quality legal support.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, trying new recipes, reading a good book, and relaxing with my bunnies, Olly and Sol, and my Labrador, Rey.

I’m grateful to be part of a team that allows me to continue learning every day, and I look forward to helping our clients through every step of their legal journey.

Sarah Hockman is a proud Charlotte native, born and raised in the Queen City. A 2024 graduate of South Piedmont Community College, she earned her Paralegal Diploma and is also a commissioned Notary Public. Sarah brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for the legal field to her role at Plumides, Romano & Johnson, where she is committed to supporting clients and attorneys with professionalism and care.

When she’s not at the office, Sarah enjoys exploring Charlotte’s local music scene and spending quality time with her nieces. Deeply rooted in her community, she values connection, growth, and making a positive impact both personally and professionally.

Deborah assists clients with any payments that they need to make toward their account. Deborah comes to us with an extensive background in the banking industry.

She brings a wealth of experience in her role and is always a ready to help customers with their billing information.

Hello! I’m Elsa Ramos, and I’m delighted to join the Plumides, Romano & Johnson, P.C. team as an Administrative Assistant. I started with the firm in 2024 and focus on keeping our files and documents meticulously organized to ensure smooth and efficient operations. My role is all about supporting our team by streamlining administrative tasks and managing essential paperwork.
